I mean, not that strata meetings are like this, but they totally are.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but i have a tendency to overly dramatize relatively mundane occurrences. I mean, somewhere in the world, RIGHT NOW, there is a strata council meeting, botching robert’s rules of order but ultimately trying to keep people from killing eachother. Really, is there a more noble task?
If you can afford a smaller place and don’t have to live in a strata, DO IT! do it. You will have many headaches having your own four walls, yes, but they will be YOUR headaches, and you can be confident in your ability to sort them out. There’s nothing worse then trying to make a decision and having eight people’s conflicting opinions to sort through.
Sometimes, that can be a strength, but only with the proper facilitation and leadership. -sigh-
